Lights On after school EVENT 2015

I mentioned, we are gathering details from Lights On ;organizers in the weeks leading up to October 22nd, and we would love to include a description of your event! I realize you may still be in the early stages of planning, in which case please let me know when would be the best time for me to check back. But if you have time, could you please answer a few questions about what you have planned?


  • What type of event are you holding? (i.e. a carnival, open house, meeting on the steps of the capitol) Tour of our boxing/mma gym
  • What events/activities will take place at that event? Martial Arts Demo, boxing demo, fun games and prizes.
  • When (time of day and date) are you holding the event? 10 am to Noon
  • Where are you holding the event? Old School Gym 1420 S. Alvernon Way, Tucson, AZ 85730
  • How many people do you expect to attend? 100
  • Do you know yet who is participating (speakers, politicians, etc.) or who you plan to invite?
  • How long is the event? We will ask Pima County Supervisors Richard Elias.
  • Will you be inviting local media to cover the event? Yes
  • Did you participate in Lights On Afterschool last year? No

Also, if you have samples of printed materials, such as flyers or invitations, please send them along! We’d love to see them.
